Tiger Widgets

Wow. Something just struck me as I loaded Apple's home page. There is a picture of a voice recording widget there right now. It doesn't take much imagination to picture it as an iPod or an iPhone type thing. Do you think that is where widgets are headed? They could run on an iPhone connected to the web and could be a great front end for such a device. Sounds cool to me. Load your favorite widgets on the Tiger compatible iPhone and do your thing. Cool. I just guessing, but I bet when Apple releases a phone or collaborates on a phone that widgets will run on it.
