I've just installed DP7 on a MacBook 13"-2.13GHz/OS X 10.6.8. I want to do some basic (test) recording using the MacBooks Line In/Out.
Problem: In the track window the built in line input is in italics, and there is no record button.
I'm guessing the input is inactive until I plug something into the line in jack? Won't be able to check that out till tomorrow. Any insight will be helpful.

IIRC, I had to create an Aggregate device in AudioMIDI setup that included the line out before DP would make use of any inputs on the Macbook.
