DC here!
I have a recurring problem with windows setup.
HP Elitebook 8440 with Windows 8.1 Enterprise swedish all patched.
6Gb ram, 120Gb Intel SSD. External Seagate 500Gb 7200 rpm usb2.
DP-8.0.5 Motu Microbook + Wavearts plugins.
Several times every session for no reason I can spot I get the
following error:
"The audio hardware state changed while MAS was starting up"
(MotuAudioSystem Mas [59:0])
After this DP freezes and I have to force reboot of DP.
Any hints tips would be very welcome.
Cheers: Dixiechicken

Just a shot in the dark - is your system/Windows audio or any other app running in the background configured to use the MOTU Microbook? Maybe something getting in the way there. IMHO, the ASIO implementation needs a little tweaking. I have been using ASIO4ALL with success to get around a couple of issues, but in your case you'd lose the hardware monitoring you get with DP + MOTU hardware. Also, DP 8.06 is available for the PC.

DC here!
DP uses the Microbook II ASIO driver.
If there is somthing else interfering... quite possibly.
I'll check further.
Will try downloading & installing 8.06 and see what happens.
Cheers: Dixiecken!
