Some movies in DP8 don't B2D

Just discovered last night that while .mov files bounce ok, mp4 files look like they're bouncing but don't complete. No file is created. I'll call MOTU.
2013 Mac Pro 2TB/32GB RAM

OSX 10.14.6; Track 16; DP 12; Finale 28

Just successfully bounced a mp4 movie with H.264 codec, DP 8.06
Wonder what codec your movie uses?
