Wireless Keyboard
Hello!
I frequently use a keyboard shortcut with the numeric pad to jump to a specific measure not flagged with a marker. ("Period-Number-Enter" is the shortcut).
On a wireless keyboard, there is not a numeric pad. Is it possible to still use this shortcut somehow on a wireless keyboard? I'm thinking of getting one, but since I use this shortcut so much, this could be a deal-breaker!
Thanks!

Re: Wireless Keyboard
You might be able to do it with the fn key plus letters. The old keyboards used to be labeled with the fn functions/characters. I do not remember what letters correspond to the numbers in the keyboard. OTT, there are third party wireless/bluetooth keyboards with numeric keypads that might be a better choice.

...or get a wireless keyboard that has the numeric keys. Logitech makes a fantastic keyboard that also uses room light to recharge the batteries and feels great. Worth every penny.

Re: Wireless Keyboard
Until you get a wireless keyboard w/number pad try "Command T" that will highlight
the measure number and then you can tab thru the beats and pulse per quarter notes.

Re: Wireless Keyboard
You can edit your commands to have a different key-combo highlight the measure number.

Re: Wireless Keyboard
There are a few wireless keypads that can be connected to the Mac keyboard, or used separately. Here's one that has been around for a few years

I love the look of this! I wanted to get it after I saw your post.. but alas, the solar panels would be covered up completely by my console (I have my keyboard shelf underneath it).MIDI Life Crisis wrote:...or get a wireless keyboard that has the numeric keys. Re: Wireless Keyboard
As do I. Fortunately IKEA sells a very slim LED (it even changes colors, flashes them, or goes thru them with a gradient effect). Fits nicely under the shelf and helps seeing in dark setting w/o affecting the surrounding areas (screens). Very cool. $50.Killahurts wrote: I love the look of this! Re: Wireless Keyboard
Oh, and it charges the panel way over what is needed, and yes, that's DP in use.
