Hello,
I have a MIDI track where the sustain pedal starts on bar 1, and if I start playback from bar 1 it sustains nicely. But if I start playback from anywhere after bar 1, its not playing back with sustain pedal. In other daws this is called "chase MIDI CC" and is a preference, but I cant seem to find this preference in DP.
The track automation triangle is on, if that helps. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
edit: hmm, now it seems to be chasing correctly without me doing anything. Weird!

Re: DP Not chasing sustain pedal?
Under the Setup Menu is Event Chasing (for the record).
It might have been that you had a stuck controller (one that was just holding in the background)-- which might explain the weird behavior. Another thing that can happen is an extra sustain message stuck in there somewhere.
