Forgive me if this is a known issue, I just upgraded to 8.05 (I have been running 6.x for years). The first two projects I built when I hit play all the meters go wonky, showing me levels that aren't there in all kinds of tracks. Not sure if this is related to using a crappy CoreAudio set of USB headphones (I don't normally mix like this!) ... but I just wanted to give 8.x a whirl on my Intel machine which has nothing but crappy computer speakers on it (I still use a PPC machine in my studio!).
Has anyone seen this before? I tried searching but didn't come up with anything useful ...
Thanks in advance and great to see this forum still going strong!
