I usually leave 2 measures of click before my first recorded note.
When tracking lots of things, this time adds up in waiting and I'd like to retain it while being able to start at my entrance frame - I.e. 3|1|100 when I hit the "play from start" command, or whatever the default is called.
I'm sure this is possible but I've never found how and would really appreciate the tip. Thanks in advance...!

Re: Setting Rewind Start Time
Set the Memory Start Time and then use ctrl-option-spacebar to start. Or, create a marker at your start time and ctrl-shift-m to go there before starting. Maybe other options that others use.

Re: Setting Rewind Start Time
You don't have to do this first part, but I find it useful when I need lead time. Go to Project > Sequences > Set Chunk Start Time and set it to -1 measures. That will give you two measures of lead time (-1 and zero).
Turn on Auto Stop and move Memory Start to 1/1 and Memory Stop to wherever you need it.
Now, when you hit rewind it will go back to 1/1 for playback, but if you hit rewind twice it will go back to -1 for recording.
