Hi,
I am aware that DP8 has video problems. I am running VIs and video and in a complex sequence and I cannot print audio with the video running the problem is so bad.
I have to turn off the video to print a mix.
I have a new video card with large RAM in attempt to get better video performance but it does not help.
Anyone have any thoughts about how to deal with the heavy load that DP8 video playback put on my system?
Mac Pro 8 Core max RAM.
Thanks,
Dean

This is the graphics card I have installed:
EVGA GeForce GTX 680 MAC 2GB PCI Express
I have tried many codecs and they all cause problems. Reducing the bandwidth of the video to 3Mbps does help but it does not fix the problem. (My video files are originally 20Mbps.)

Hmmm.... I've done a few dozen projects in DP8 ( but not DP 8.04 yet) and .264 is fine.
