I need to pickup an 8 port MIDI interface and hoping some of you might have some light you can shed on a few questions I can't figure out from the motu website.
First, does anyone know if the MIDI express 128 includes MIDI timestamping? its not listed, but it seems silly motu would not build that into all their interfaces. Does anyone know?
second, I see USB MTP/AV's going on Ebay for a considerable bargain, and aside from the face they include a few more features then the XT, I am wondering if the XT has been upgraded in any other ways that would make it worth my while to get an XT instead of a used MTP/AV. Anyone have any thoughts about that?
