L.A.M.E and DP8, how to make it work

I'm beginning to get a bit frustrated. I've installed L.A.M.E 3.99.5 from MacUpdate

I can see the LAME Audio Export: MP3 option when exporting soundbites. At MOTU's support they say:

The LAME.framework should be placed in /Library/Frameworks.

If you do not see LAME Audio Export: MP3 as a choice when you Bounce to Disk or Export Selected bites, the LAME.framework is not installed, or it is installed in the Library of another user. Relocate the LAME.framework to the global /Libary/Frameworks folder.

DP8 tells me to put it into /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/MOTU Audio Export/

Neither of them works

Here's what the installer says

Am I supposed to move all these files into the folder MOTU Audio Export?

All I can tell you is it's working for me. The location is different however.

Look in this directory:

/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/MOTU Audio Export/

You should have three files in that directory:

Core Audio Export.bundle
LAME Audio Export.bundle
libmp3lame.dylib

Since mine is working I'm posting an archive of that file here that you can unarchive and drop into that directory and it should work.

If you don't have the other files let me know, but the DP8 installer should put them there I think.
