i've been a DP user since it was just performer and came on wooden floppy
discs

for using VIs and plugins in 32 and 64. i am a professional and do not have
time to wait for all my third parties to upgrade to 64. i also have many plugins
that will never bump up.
what is worse is that the designers at MOTU considered this feature and decided
against it. after a year of struggling thru DP7 and it's 32 bit limitations i was sickened
to find out that "workarounds" were still part of my life.
worst of all is the disrespectful attitude at MOTU just plain lazy. check out the response i received after talking to MOTU customer service:
we did consider adding a bridge at one time, but did not because most plug-ins are moving to 64-bit (albeit some slower rather than surely). For example, you mentioned owning Waves, who recently moved into Waves 9, which is 64-bit compatible. Though I do realize an upgrade of this magnitude is easier said than done (especially for one's wallet), because, as I also mentioned, I am an end-user as well, so I do sympathize with you.
