TruePianos 64 bit DP 8 -- Anybody using it?
I'm going to stay with DP7.24 for a little while longer, but I'd like to know if anyone's tried using TruePianos within DP8 at 64 bit. Just wondering if it's working out okay.
I believe the most current version is 1.9.4. I'd also be interested to know which Mac OS you're using. Thanks.

Haven't really put it through its paces, but it seems to open and act as usual in 64bit.
Cheers

Hey, just to let you guys know, TruePianos released an update a few days after I posted here. It drops support for PPC entirely, but is supposed to be a little kinder to the CPU.
I installed it, and it seems to work fine. However, I haven't really put it through any real tests.
TruePianos 1.9.5 maintenance release Oct 22 2012
I notice that the overall installer size is considerably smaller than previous version.
Enjoy!

Fixed crashes when bouncing audio with Atlantis module under some hosts (SONAR X2).
Performance improvements (slight reduction in CPU usage).
Please note, PPC is no longer supported for Mac OS X. Older version downloads are available for PPC users.

Enjoy!

Re: TruePianos 64 bit DP 8 -- Anybody using it?
When the Atlantis Module was released, I wasn't sure why I couldn't embrace it the way I'd hoped to. However, after experimenting with and changing the "Keyboard Dyanamics" preference, to suit my personal playing style, I've finally found that this is a very cool module. That changed everything.Bennie Sims wrote:Working great here! That Atlantis piano is special!!
To be fair, the same goes for the rest of the modules. Much can be done with the built-in parameters to get radically different piano timbres, attitudes, characters.
