2 gb ram

Post by michaelly »

Can i add 2 GB RAM to my second slot on my desktop mainboard? Currently I have only 1 GB RAM on my first slot and my mainboard only have 2 memory slots. So can I just add 2 GB to the second slot? My mainboard max. memory limit is 4 GB.

Without knowing what Mac you are talking about, no one will know the answer to your question.

In any case, go to OWC and you can look it up. Their charts are more accurate than Apple as to which model can handle what RAM.
