Mixing Board Volume to Controller Number X

Post by Cacus »

Hi all

I have a DDX3216 on it's way and could do with some advice. I'd like to set up a MIDI track in DP for each of the physical tracks/aux/sends etc on the DDX3216. But with regards to the mixing board in DP I would like to remap the volume slider from controller 7 to controller 1 as the DDX3216 has controllers 1 to 32 set up to control the volume of each of it's 32 tracks.

What's the best way to do this. I know you can assign a MIDI controller to the DP fader but this would mean the fader was on controller 7 still.

I'd rather not use 'consoles' in DP as (a) there graphically crap! but really I want the mixing board to reflect the DDX and my 828 + MIDI synths

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers
Steve
