As a long-term user of M5 v2 I got used to use storing system that allowed me to choose a saving location for samples apart from presets. That was so convenient when I was browsing my sound libraries to find the perfect sound for certain tracks – I changed sounds with ”next” and ”previous” –commands while the track was playing and was very happy with it.
Now, in M5 v3, there’s no such possibility (at least I can’t find it). The samples will be stored in folder right next to program and selecting ”next” will result first program and after that the first sample in the sample folder and so on. If I move samples to different location, I have to tell the app, where they are and save program again. Separately with every program.
Is there a way to tell M5 not to go inside the folders when browsing sounds OR tell it to save samples somewhere else?
Trying to figure out a new way to do something is really annoying when I just want to get some work done…
