plug-ins / VIs in popup menu:: How to organize appearance of

Post by DPINCGK »

Hello,

I assume someone out there knows how to do this...

I'd like to know how (if possible) i can clean up my list of Plug Ins and VIs.

For example, when I add a new track via the Project->Add Track->Instrument Track menu, or by right clicking inside the track window, selecting Add Track->Instrument Track.

What is happening currently is that Arturia CS-80V2 (stereo) appears outside of the Arturia subfolder in the popup menu. I would like for that plugin to go into the Arturia subfolder.

However, it appears that Performer auto-creates these folders in a way that is not clear to me currently.

I'd also like to know how to organize the MOTU plugs (Model12, nanosampler, etc.) into a folder, to make my "preferred" plugins more quickly and easily accessible, remove old or unnecessary plugins, and so forth.

Thanks!

Oops just realized the bottom graphic arrow should be pointing to Arturia folder - now I know why I never became a graphic artist :(

You can put the MOTU plugins into folders, but you can't fool around with AudioUnits folders.

I made clippings out of the plugins I use regularly and put them in the clippings windows to make them easy to find. Drag them from the Mixer inserts into a clippings window.
