828 and Lion

Just wondering if Motu has Mac/Lion drivers for the older 828 firewire device. I've been using that for years and don't really feel the need to upgrade. Can it work with Lion OS?

Yes, it works with Lion and the latest drivers but read this thread:

I'm not sure if this is a Lion problem or not but a few folks have seen it with other interfaces and I've experienced it on my old 828. Please let us know if you run into the same problem.

We've used it for playing backtracks on a few shows now without any issues. Don't use it for recording though so cannot comment on that.

Our original 828 has been a real champ. Got it way back in... 2002? And it's been lugged around and been mistreated. And the optical out has been smashed in and now scrambles around inside but the damn thing just continues to work! Fantastic.
