Best set up?

At the moment I run DP7.2 on an iMac 27 together with an 828 mk1.
I also run ProTools 9 on another iMac together with a Dididesign 002R.
Both sets of outputs from the 828 and the 002R go into a Yamaha DM1000 via ADAT.
So what I'm thinking is to get rid of both the 828 and the 002R and buy an
828mk3 Hybrid.
My question is what is the best way of setting this up? I have an idea, i.e.
16 ADAT ins and outs to the Desk and then link the ProTools iMac to the 828 via USB.
I know that some might suggest getting rid of the mixer too but I like to have someone come my studio an mix for me while I tweak the DP files.
Any opinions or thoughts would be appreciated.
