Just received DP 7.22. I'm running OS X Lion 10.7.1. Installation worked well. However, when I start DP 7 for the first time after installing I'm presented with a dialog asking for my name and the key-code in the back of the user manual. When I enter this info, my system accesses the install disc for awhile and then presents the same name and key-code dialog again. This happens over and over, never allowing me to enter DP.
Has anyone else experienced this and if so what am I doing wrong?
I was able to run DP 6.03 under Snow Leopard just fine.
Could very well be an issue with Lion compatibility. Probably had you installed under SL before upgrading to Lion you'd be okay. Not that it's of any help right now. I'd call MOTU. DP 7.24 is the first official Lion-compatible version. Perhaps they can send you a 7.24 installer disc. Or why don't you try downloading the 7.24 update and the.launching it and the try to authorize?
