DP problems with Apogee Duet?

i've installed the latest drivers for the Duet, plugged it in. It doesn't seem to want to work with DP projects that i have. It will work with a new project, but with any others, DP opens and then bouncing ball... basically then nothing happens. i've tried different buffer settings and diff work priorities in Hardware setup. i'm also using VE Pro. This is disappointing..
anyone?

Tried loading old project into new session. When i went to change the outputs from the old (828mkII) in italics to the Duet, yep, permanent bouncing ball of death. This is really frustrating. What else can i try?

You really need to call Apogee Tech Support.

I have an Apogee Duet - no problems on my system.

I've run into problems with my Apogee Rosetta when the clock is set differently between DP and Audio MIDI Setup. I don't know if ths is your problem, but it might be worth checking out. Go to Audio MIDI Setup and see if the clock rate for your Duet is set the same there as your DP projects. Worth a try.

FWIW how many drives etc. do you have on your FW bus? My Duet was working fine until I added a third external FW drive to my bus in addition to the Duet. I think it might be a FW bus power issue.

In any case I went back to the 828 and my Duet went back to laptop duty.

If i ever have any issues with Duet I make sure to have Maestro running and "Refresh Connections" in the drop down menu. It always clears up any sync issues there might be. It also helps to have a saved Maestro profile that you can load to kind of reset any weirdness.
