Connecting 8pre to ultralight

I've had an ultralight for about a year and a bit and am loving it.
I've got a project coming up that I need some extra preamps for.

Is it a simple matter to add an 8pre to the ultralight via firewire, and does the cuemixfx extend to show the additional channels??

I'm using Windows 7 with X1. Can I expect any problems??

Any advice appreciated.....
