Motu828mk3 spdif input no sound problem

got a strange problem. tried everything (i believe) but cannot figure it out.

got a mac pro with logic 9 and motu 828mk3 connected by firewire.
also got a PC win xp with m-audio 2496 and nuendo.

all gear is connected and everything works fine, except one problem.

i have connected my PC m-audio 2496 soundcard by spdif (coax) out to spdif in on the motu828mk3.

the display on the mk828mk3 shows the incomming stuff (leds are lightning up) but there's no sound to hear.

i tried many settings on the motu but i just can't figure it out on what i have to do to hear the incomming spdif stuff.

all i want to do is playing wav files on Nuendo on my PC through motu828mk3 by coax spdif. this seems to work but i just cannot hear anything.

can someone help?

Make sure the fader is up or the channel isn't muted on the S/PDIF input in CueMix FX.
