Guitar Rig 2???

Hi Guys... sorry if this was answered before, but I can't seem to find it. I just got back into recording and I purchased DP7. I was using DP5 prior to that. After I installed DP7, I reinstalled Guitar Rig 2. Though DP7 recognizes the AU's, I can't seem to get it to pull up Guitar Rig for me in ant channel. Is this an issue due to GR2 being 32 bit and it needs to be 64 bit (basically I have to upgrade to GR4)? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Its not a 32/64 thing - I think DP is still only running 32 bit AUs. What's an ant channel? You mean aux? I set my amps up on aux tracks all the time but I confess I don't have GR2 - just GR4 and Amplitube.

Did you notice if GR2 passed initial validation? Does it show up in the inserts menu? It will be an insert effect, not an instrument.

Sorry, I meant any channel, not ant. I've tried to use it as an insert, on an Aux channel, but it doesn't show up as one of my choices. I'm just getting what seems to be the standard DP7 and Garageband effects. When I get home, I'll try to see if GR passes verification. I can use Guitar Rig as the stand alone program with no problems. I notice that when you go and pick an insert effect, you have a choice to pick a different directory... should I try that? Thanks in advance.

Ok. I figured it out. I had to go to Project>Effects and place it in my tracks that way. I guess it's been longer than I thought since I've played with DP.
