Need recommendation on Monitors/Speaker mixer

Post by NeroMan2 »

I have three sets of speakers in my home studio. 2 sets are powered monitors (M-Audio BXAs 5" and a set of Yamahas 8"). I also have a pair of stereo bookcase speakers that I use for normal playback after mix is done. I want to be able drive all the speakers from line out of my audio interface, I need a device that will let switch to the various speakers without having to physically repatch. I'm thinking a small mixer would be great although I don't need an EQ. Recommendations would be appreciated.

Allen Old Flame head/Cab with 12" Celestion Gold. Apple TV (1st Gen).

I, for one, am perfectly happy with Presonus' less expensive Monitor Station. The headphone amps rock, and it has just the right combination of i/o for my situation. A little squirt of Caig Labs ProGold in the master fader took care of a scratchy pot that developed over the first year of use and I haven't had a worry since.
