Need recommendation on Monitors/Speaker mixer
I have three sets of speakers in my home studio. 2 sets are powered monitors (M-Audio BXAs 5" and a set of Yamahas 8"). I also have a pair of stereo bookcase speakers that I use for normal playback after mix is done. I want to be able drive all the speakers from line out of my audio interface, I need a device that will let switch to the various speakers without having to physically repatch. I'm thinking a small mixer would be great although I don't need an EQ. Recommendations would be appreciated.
MOTU 8pre. Focusrite Saffire PRO 40. M-Audio BX5a Deluxe. ART 6 Head amp. MBP 13" 2.4 GHz C2D, 8 Gigs RAM. iMac 20" 2.1 GHz C2D, 4 Gigs RAM. 20" Cinema Display. 62 AVRI Fender Stratocaster. 2002 Fender Telecaster. 2005 Gibson ES-137. Fender 65 DRRI. Fender 5E3 clone. Allen Old Flame head/Cab with 12" Celestion Gold. Apple TV (1st Gen).

Re: Need recommendation on Monitors/Speaker mixer
I, for one, am perfectly happy with Presonus' less expensive Monitor Station. The headphone amps rock, and it has just the right combination of i/o for my situation. A little squirt of Caig Labs ProGold in the master fader took care of a scratchy pot that developed over the first year of use and I haven't had a worry since.
