828 MKII under PC

Hey there,

so what's your experience running a 828MkII under PC.

Being a Mac guy i'm looing to build a PC as a sample player / sound server for my writing room.

I'm thinking of running it with a 828MKII as i have 1 laying around doing nothing.

Is it good? If highpitch noise problems occurs then it's a no-go then.
