Overproduced Mess or evidence of Quasi-Genius?

Probably more the former. I'm waaaay to close to this tune. I started it a few years ago in DP 4.12 and am finishing it up in 6.2. It just took time getting the right players in and on top of it.

I know most of y'all will want it shorter. I apologize, but I just couldn't let go of the exhaustive, relentless bombast. It's got tons of tracks and wrangling them in to a comprehensive mix has been a herculean task performed by a sub-Hercules.

Anyway, here is the tune. And, no, it's not a cover of the Waylon Jennings' song of the same name.

Triggered kick from the Model 12 VI.

Otherwise, it's just real instruments, Reason synths, a Prophecy and a Roland RD-300X

Enjoyed the composition. Love the intro, your voice, the many harmonies, and various pitches.

Seems like some Quasi-genius in there to me...There's certainly alot going on, but it's alot of really good things. Genre bending... but, hey this is Art.

I know how difficult it is to get someone to really listen to One's Music... I mean really listen, and be constructive, or even destructive and honest about it, even to actually say One Word, pro or con.

We're very close to Our creation, but if you could find someone, a friend, or, a producer that could stand back with You and listen and tighten it all up, I don't mean shorten it... I'm not into dumbing things down...

Of course, if you listen to my music, you may say, What the Hell do You Know?... and that might be a good question... but... I did it... it's out there...I'm getting good reviews and radio play in the U.S., and that makes Me happy.

I think You can do the same with Yours. Keep up the Good Works and keep me updated about what You're working on.
