Question for all the motu people,
How is this configured on your systems?
this is going to be a difficult one to explain..
with my current card if i put the routing via spdif i cannot use the pc sound without the mixer being turned on
Does the motu allow analogue and spdif to be be routed through so i can use both at the same time?
my pc is my workstation as well and i am sat here all day and all night so i need both to be working?
it isnt very easy to switch with my current card amongst other issues so is it easy on the motu?
when i switch the mixer on i want it to use the spdif and when its off i want to use the normal pc sound.
do you know if this is possible?

Re: Motu Ultralite Presales Question
I'm glad you said that because I don't really understand.this is going to be a difficult one to explain..
which S/PDIF are you using? The one on the mobo or one on the soundcard?
When you say mixer do you mean a software mixer or a hardware mixer?
Can you draw a diagram? Name components?
You can certainly both input and output via S/PDIF and any/all of the analogue connections simultaneously but I don't know if that is what you want to do....
