Traveler Missing S/PDIF

Post by wbissell »

I'm revisiting recording after a several years break and my 2004 era Traveler is showing no S/PDIF inputs in any of the interfaces. I'm running a Sony PCM-M1 DAT (I know, antiquated, but I'm trying to pull old recordings from tapes) into the S/PDIF in on the Traveler. I get no signal. I see no options to select S/PDIF anywhere though the hardware input port is of course there. Very weird. This used to be no problem and now it seems the Traveler has forgotten it has S/PDIF ports at all. I'm stumped. Any ideas? I've upgraded from a MacBook to a MacPro with updated OS since the last time I did this. No other changes.
