I use the MK3 Ultralite firewire version with a Macbook, 4Gb ram, logic 9.1x. Installed I have the latest audio driver from Motu.
When I run logic and an instance of Stylus RMX as soon as I run a loop out Stylus the Motu interface crashes and the high pitch tone phenomenon appears. For no obvious reason there is no sound output anymore. To solve it I have to switch of Logic and run it again.
Somebody have an idea why this happens and how to solve that? I am currently on a concert tour through India and have no chance to get any serious support on the road.
Cheers, Luckisup

Re: Ultralite MK3 crashing in logic - high pitch and whin
I have a white mac book, about 3 years old, dual core intel 2.1 Ghz. Since I travel with it through India the computer case starts to vaporize. However, beside the case everything else works fine.
But back to the major question: What to do now with this Motu driver non-sense? I can not use it for the performances now, bulked down all my backing tracks to a mono Digitech Jaman and had to change all my composition. Before I ran many sounds through Logic played by MIDI Guitar. The current driver mistake downgrades my MIDI live show to a cheap karaoke track trip...
Any practical help and ideas are very welcome in my situation. Here on the road I have actually no chance for any consequent testing.
