Computer recommendations for 2408 mk3 with expansions

Getting ready to setup a live recording/multi-track cueing station.

Plans are for one PCI or PCIe(?) 2408 mk3, and up to three 24 i/o expansion units. analog in/outs are going to a Soundcraft Spirit 8 bus 48 channel board (already in place). Timecode audio/video sync to mediashout on a separate computer station (already in place), a stand alone dvd player, and lighting control through MIDI (Lighting controller already in place).

I am alway a fan of overkill when it comes to hardware.. A lot fewer headaches when everything is being used to the limit.

Can anyone give me a recommendation for pc computer specs/best windows op system to fit the bill?

Best part is, I get to run it!
