Power Pop track, done entirely in DP6

Post by doctormelodious »

Greetings,

This is a 320kbps LAME-encoded MP3 of a test mix.

Angela, Don't Give Up (test mix 20100302.01)

In addition to the gear listed in my sig below: Acoustic guitar was recorded with an AT4040, and the vocals with the Rode NT2000. Electric guitars came through a Pod into the FireFace 800.

Recorded at 24/44.1, bounced (w/dithering) to 16 Bit. Everything was done ITB. This track has not been mastered.

Questions/comments most welcome.

Thanks,
DM

Fun song, entertaining lyric! Vocals a tad loud, perhaps, but overall very nicely done... All you need is a film starring Angela J where she's not busy being super serious.

Thanks for sharing. :D

Thanks for the kind words, HC. And I agree: the vocal is a bit hot.
