Master Room Spring Reverb
I was listening to some mixes I did back in 1980 and loving the vocal verb, a Master Room spring reverb.
I don't recall the model number, 3 something comes to mind.
Anyway, is there a plugin based on the Master Room stuff?
Impulses for convolution verbs maybe?
I may need to just research the models somehow and scour ebay for a real one..........

Now all I'm missing is the 2" MCI, the Neve console and the 1/2" ampex I did the mixes with.......

Hey Hopi... There's engineers doing that type of thing from what Ive read. Running spikes from console channels and running concurrent instances to make virtual analog consoles.
Re: Master Room Spring Reverb
What format are those in? Something to do with Altiverb? I'm trying to figure them out.TheHopiWay wrote:I found these impulses from a model II.

Re: Master Room Spring Reverb
burn em,
the context was this:
At the time I did the mixes, studios generally had very limited choices in reverbs. Either a plate or a spring or a chamber.
This particular studio had the master room reverb as it's only choice.
The only other ambiance on the tracks were from micing techniques or tape delay.
bongo x
As to the format of the impulses I believe them to be altiverb.
As it turns out I've been unable to use them.
The search continues.
