Muting of Tracks With Orange Play Button on DP6.02

Could someone please advise me on a problem in DP 6.02 that I have.
Sometimes I get a muting when the play button on the tracks (blue) turn orange
and this turns off the audio. What is this and how can I fix the problem without rebooting?

That means DP is in Solo mode. If you look to the right of the Control panel you should see a highlighted orange icon with an "S". Click on that and it will turn Solo mode off. You can also toggle Solo on/off with a key command. Do a search for Solo in the Commands window to find out what that command is (I changed mine so I don't know what the default is). If you unsolo all tracks from the Mixer, Solo mode will automatically turn off, but if you unsolo them all from the Tracks Overview or Sequence Editor, Solo mode will remain on.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I see the solo button and it will turn off and on the orange play button. So I am sure this was the problem.

Hey Dan,

That doesn't solve the problem. The problem is when I step record,
all my tracks turn orange or clear -can't access blue play button.

Some sort of muting.

In the Step Record window there's a check box for "Solo Playback." Uncheck that.
