Hello all
Since it seems everybody says that only Motu audio interfaces work with Volta, isn't possible to use the headphone outputs of a M-Audio Pro Firewire 610 to send the control voltage signal, since these are TRS? I've tried to find a Volta section here but as I coudn't find, so it seems here is the best place to ask... If somebody help me, that will be great, thanks!

Re: Volta and Audio Interface
I haven't tested a ProFire 610, but I know that the older model FireWire 410 doesn't have DC-coupled analog outputs. Based on that, I would expect that the ProFire 610 analog outputs aren't DC-coupled either. It might be possible to modify the interface by removing the DC blocking capacitors in the analog output stage, which would make the outputs usable for Volta.
By the way, there's an active Volta forum on muffwiggler.com. Users there might have more advice about which interfaces to consider or how to modify an interface.
