I know they are different all together, but my main concerns are.
Can I track 16 channels via the 896HD on my Mac Pro or Mac Book Pro (not at the same time)?
How good are the mic pres on the 896HD's
Will 2 896's be as rock solid as an HD192?
I currently run a 2408 MK3 and 1296, they run rock solid. But I like the Cue FX idea, seems a little better than just Cue Mix but I could be wrong.
I like that the 896 can be mobile.
I am just trying to get consensus as I have racked my brain deciding what I like better, but maybe some out there might have points I haven't thought of.
