Anyone who bought Total Workstation Bundle?

Post by felicopter »

Hey there,

I just bought the Total Workstation Bundle 2 on ebay.
The seller told me, I would have to download the samples at IKs homepage.
Unfortunately, I can only find the download for the software, not for samples though.
Anybody who knows more than I do?

May you all have a merry christmas.

How many disks came with it? If you didn't get the library installs your burnt! I found links to them on IK's site (28 GB) but I'd rather have the physical media.

You basically have some expensive drink coasters there without the library installers. Those VI's are worthless without them. I'd never buy anything off ebay (especially software) when I could just buy from a real person here in town otherwise, what money was saved?

Hey newrigel,

I did not get any CD, it says electronic delivery.
He appears to be a dealer with a good reputation.
I was never really worried about buying software over ebay
and have never had any problems.

I am in contact with that guy
and hope things will clear up
or at least find a good ending.

I appreciate your help and will write again if anything has happend.

Thank you and enjoy these days.

You'll have to DL in your user area but still... I'd want the actual installer disks. What if you're on dial up? Get ready for a 28 GB DL on dial up... NOT!
What a HASSLE! I'd tell that guy to send me some discs or forget it because your going to be DL'ng for a while and unless you have a way to BU it's really a big inconvenience.
Libraries this big need actual discs IMO... again, what a hassle.
And hopefully it's not a transfer... those can be a real PITA!

Have you registered the software on the IK website? If so, when your User Page comes up, you should see a link entitled "Sounds Download." Check to see if your libraries are in there. Note that if you haven't registered, you won't see the files.

Kind regards.

Thanks for your replies.

I registered each and every plugin from that bundle,
but unfortunately there is no such link.

Fortunately there is hope again.
I will probably have to wait for IKs reply.

Once again, thank you so much.
