Disable Rewire?

Disable Rewire?

Hi,
Is there a simple way to disable Rewire? I'm working with sequences and scores on Sibelius and DP7, and the programs are communicating when I don't want them to - Sibelius Sounds seems to playing along with my DP sequences.

I know about the booting order sequence, but I import quantised SMF files to Sibelius every few hours and just want to keep the programs open with the option of linking them when required.

I don't use Rewire for any other purpose and haven't used it in any other context, so the whole the whole thing's a bit opaque to me...
