New Ultralite mk3 user question

Hello all,

I've been playing guitar and drums for 20 + years. I just bought an Ultralite mk3. I am using Cubase Studio 5 software. Of course, I am reading all the manuals that come with it, and I am teaching myself as I go...but I have a question about drums.

I have a Yamaha DTXtreme IIs drumset...is it possible to plug the drumset into the Ultralite to record my drum tracks? I see references to MIDI, but nothing in reference to a drum set. Am I making this harder than it should be?
