impressions? from the sound files on their site, it sounds "ok" but lacking in dynamics like Sonar or Cubase, etc (at least they presented the files in 320Kbps mp3s)

(OT: when will vbr mp3s @ v2 ever be the norm????)

I did.

If you are primarily a Reason user, it's a no-brainer especially at the 129 upgrade price. The integration is fantastic, the RECORD mixer is great, the tempo stretching works well, and the workflow for the "laptop recording session with the band" scenario is pretty sweet.

However, IMHO it's really oriented to folks who record with external mike'd or DI'd instruments. If you work primarily with VIs/plugins, it doesn't offer huge leaps in functionality considering the availability of Rewire.

Mac Studio | 96 GB RAM | OS 15.4 | LIVE 12 | CUBASE 14 | DP 11 | MOTU Interfaces | Waaay Waaay Too Many Plug-ins (but I'm improving!)|
