Thinking of a MAJOR gear switch....

Okay---I'm a Pro Tools HD guy and don't plan on changing that anytime soon. However, I do like DP and can use DP on the TDM hardware if I choose to. Well, I have a Control24 with an Argosy desk---but lately I've been toying with the idea of replacing that with the following:

(3) Euphonix MC Mix
(1) Euphonix MC Control
(1) Malone Designs desk (holds (4) of these things). FYI this is the desk:



The idea is I can use this with DP, LOGIC, and FINAL CUT as well as Pro Tools. I will lose certain control in PT by going this way--but gain much more in other applications, and will it helps me help others in the other applications. I don't know, what do you think??

Yeah, I saw that Malone desk in your company's latest catalog... looks sweet(water). You have the ability to test all the stuff out, so I am sure your decision wil be well-reasoned.

Just wondering who here is using this setup with DP-----with Logic----with Nuendo----etc. I get feedback from my own clients, but looking for more. Thanks!
