Separating 896 mk3 output from inputs

Post by Ripthorn »

Hi guys, I would like to make it so that the output of the 896mk3 does not include the real time input signal. I am using this to take measurements, and I can't have my input signal looped back through the output. Anyone know how to do this? I have explored the onboard menus, but haven't found anything that seems to do the trick. Is this even possible? Thanks.

If I understand your question, the solution is to simply mute all the inputs in Cuemix. Under the mixing tab you have 8 available mixes, each of which can be assigned to any hardware output. Choose the mix which you have assigned the output you want, and make sure all the inputs are muted. With all inputs muted, only the audio sent to that output from a software program will be heard. Hope that helps
