Combining MIDI Outputs

Post by MRG »

I am thinking of Buying a Motu micro lite 5 x 5 MIDI interface...this thing has 5 in's and 5 MIDI's out. I am wanting to mix several MIDI Instruments into one Output to feed into My computer. What Im really Looking for is 5 in and 1 out. Is Mixing several MIDI Instruments possible with this type of MIDI Mixer ? Thanks..

First of all, watch out with the letter size dude...

Are you talking about mixing the audio channels of your hardware or MIDI signals?

You should be able to do that in your MIDI software. You'll just define an output.

Hey thanks for the big letters. I'm getting old and it's easy to read
