MK3 current driver question

Post by eyeknow »

If someone was to get the MK3 of the traveler, ultralite, or 828, do the drivers STILL add all that extra latency, or is that only if you use them on a non mk3 unit?

yes, they add (double) latency whether or not you are using MkIII or pre-units. MOTU has apparently added an extra layer of buffering to support the dsp in the new units if you need it or not.

no, if you have pre mkIII use 3.6.7.4 or earlier. For that gear it's the most stable.

Oh yes sir I know ALL about that! And yes, my traveler works with 3.6.7.4 pretty much, but I'd love to step up to the DSP.....oh well.....
