Just got into using DP and bought a powerful MacPro to run it.
The problem I am having is when I try to import audio. Each and every time I try to
place audio into a track, I get a "Disk error-Disk full" message. I have a TB of hard disk space
and 16gB of RAM.
What is going on with DP that won't allow me to import audio successsfully????
Anyone had trouble using a software RAID and DP???
Quad-core MacPro (Xeon)
16gb RAM
1 TB (software based) Raid 1 harddrive

Re: Importing Audio
Hi...
Where are you importing the files from? Does it import files ok from your desktop?
I just found this thread which sounds similar to what you're experiencing..

Re: Importing Audio
Thanks---for the link. It seems that for whatever reason, it is best to copy an audio file to the internal HD's before trying to import them into the project.
Never had to do this before in other DAW's but it seems to be a necessary step in DP.

Re: Importing Audio
Weird !
No issue, here when importing from CDs or usb-keys to DP6 tracks (click and drag).
Of course you did repair Mac authorizations ? Clean caches, and so son ?
Onyx and Disk Warrior may help.
