Hello all.
I was scheduled to record with my friends tonight on my new interface. But I can't get the drivers to install.
I used to run an Alesis Multimix Firewire 8 and had problems getting that to run smoothly, so I made the *supposed* upgrade to a MOTU.
I downloaded the drivers from the MOTU website and tried to install them but the system didn't recognize them even after a restart.
So I uninstalled the drivers and tried to install again, but before the install was finished I received the Blue Screen of Death.
I repeated this cycle a few times and tried cleaning out the registry and installing the driver through Windows, to no avail.
Anyone have any ideas on how I can get this to work? Might I have to downgrade operating systems, or has anybody figured this out yet?

Make sure your 828 is not plugged in until after you install the driver and reboot.
