I bought a PCIe 424 card on ebay. I already had an original Motu 2408. As soon as the card is installed into any PCIe slot, the computer will not boot. It will not even post. The fan of the computer comes on and a light on the motherboard comes on which is normal and that's it. No beep, no loading of any kind, black screen. I tried resetting the battery. Hope I did it correctly. Is there anything else I can do? I hate to send it back. Is the problem more likely my computer's fault or the cards? The computer seems fine otherwise.
Thanks

Re: Install PCIe 424 = No Boot
Honestly, it sounds like a bad card. If you can find another PC with a free PCIe slot, you could test to be sure. The only thing that would prevent the PC from posting is a bad card or a major BIOS incompatibility. You could always try updating your system BIOS and trying again, but my money is on the card being bad. Sorry
