Hi,
Maybe it's something simple.
Mac Pro - Intel Dual Xeon - PCIe 424 connected to a MOTU 24. Running OS X 10.5.
Installed the hardware driver for the 424 from the MOTU website.
Everything seems to run ok in the Mac. All options available in Audio MIDI Setup.. MOTU PCI Audio Setup application reports the device ok. Sound outputs to the MOTU at least via the front display of the MOTU 24 but nothing from the jack outputs..
It did seem to run hot upon turn on but has now cooled down.. Maybe that's unrelated?
Any ideas ?
Cheers.
MOTU 24 PCie - Mac OS X Leopard - No sound output.

In the MOTU setup, you have to tell it what output goes to the MAINS.
After that, in Audio MIDI Setup, tell it to direct sound to the MOTU unit, and under Speakers, set both STEREO and MULTICHANNEL to the proper audio stream.
Good luck.
