MIDI Delay

Hi,

Im using logic 8.0.2, OSX 10.5.5, a motu MIDI timepiece and motu 828 mk3.

Im experiencing a triggering delay through the MTP. does anyone know of a method to resolve this? preferably id prefer to not have to adjust the MIDI delay parameter on the channel strip in logic.

as another thought, i dont experience delays through the MIDI on the mk3 or an akai mpk49 via a usb hub. the timepiece is going direct into the mac by usb.

Perhaps there is a way to syncronise the mtp, logic and 828 together?

any help appreciated
