Virus TI and DP6 timing issues

Post by onebigdoor »

I had lots of latency and general timing issues with the Access Virus TI under DP 5.13, and was thrilled to see it explicitly mentioned in MOTUs press release for DP6 as being supported.
This appears to be a blatant fabrication, as I'm having just as much trouble under DP6. Access brushes DP off as "still not supported".
Is anyone using TI under DP6 with any success? I get better timing when I use the audio outs of the Virus into my mixer as opposed to USB audio, but the timing is still off. It's not just strict latency, either. Different hits are off by different amounts.
Any advise or tips would be great.

I'd upgrade to 6.01 as soon as possible, and if the symptoms persist, I'd trash my DP prefs and AU cache.

I too had my hopes crushed when my TI Polar still had terrible latency on my very fast system...I would pay some serious $ to either side to get it working...
